Peering Policy

Peering

Following are the guidelines for establishing public or private interconnections with the GameRail Network:

Have a fully staffed Network Operations Center operating and reachable by phone and e-mail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Have and provide a defined escalation path for resolving emergency network issues in a timely fashion.
Work with GameRail to jointly plan capacity planning on interconnection augmentation to accommodate traffic growth and minimize the possibility of latency or packet loss between both networks.
Only announce routes from your network or downstream providers to which you provide service.
Never announce routes from upstream providers.
Never establish a static route, a route of last resort, or otherwise send traffic to GameRail for a route not announced by GameRail via BGP.
Never use the GameRail network for transit, or engage in any other routing manipulation that causes the GameRail network to provide transit to other networks.
